How it Works
Vitamin C has key properties as an anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory agent and brightener, as well as being essential for collagen production. L-ascorbic acid-based vitamin C products tend to be very unstable with the vitamin C oxidising and losing its potency, quite quickly. CellDerma’s Vitamin C complex, however, utilises 3 highly stabilised and effective compounds of vitamin C ensuring high potency throughout the shelf-life of the bottle.
Free radicals are unstable molecules created by various factors such as environmental damage (pollution, UV radiation). These molecules not only damage healthy skin cells but transform them into free radicals too, in the process. Thus, a domino effect occurs leading to skin laxity, lines and wrinkles, pigmentation and so on. Antioxidants mop up free radicals which are why these are a key part of any skincare routine.
Vitamin C complex can be applied morning and evening but if you only use it once daily, the morning is best due to the protection it gives against environmental insults. It also goes on beautifully under make-up.
Like most of our serums, our active vitamin C compounds are based in a sodium hyaluronate medium. This is the most soluble form of hyaluronic acid and offers good hydration for the skin as well as potentiating the penetration of vitamin C.
How to Use
Apply 4-6 drops every morning and evening by pressing the serum onto the skin with your fingertips. Recommended for the face, neck and décolletage. Best followed by a mineral sunscreen for full UVA/UVB protection.
